Spending Christmas in my Happy Place – Haenertsburg where I enjoyed a travelling Christmas lunch and time to just relax.
Christmas lucnh was great fund this year. My mum and I joined a group of friends in the Village to have a travelling lunch. We started at the cemetery with Sparkling wine and Orange Juice to toast Christmas for all present and those joining in spirit.
We then moved onto starters of gazpacho and sherry with much merriment popping crackers.
for the main meal we moved on again to the next stop. Wow was this a yummy spread of gammon, turkey, salads and more merriment of popping crackers and enjoying way to much of the divine spread.
As the wine flowed so did the day pass and eventually we ended up at the last stop f the day for the final and by far yummiest round. Pudding. What a spread was put on this time. traditional Christmas pudding with brandy butter, mince pie phyllo pastry cigars and the most divine Nougat cheesecake. I’m not a cheesecake fan but this one I’ll happily make and eat it was simply divineChristmas, gauteng photographer, lifestyle photography
